October 26, 2015

It is 2PM EST and we have received .10" of rain so far and more is expected the couple of days.  Todays rain in the type of rain I like fishing in and have caught some great trout on the fly.

I had a chance to fish the Deep Creek up to the loop bridge and I have to tell you that it is fishing great.  They trout are taking #18 Parachute Adams and Tiny Midge Patterns.  I also talked with other guides and the general consensus is the same.  Expect Caddis to hatch in afternoon so I recommend fishing mid day.

The DH waters are fishing good and it seems to be all over the place with what to use.  I am selling everything from traditional patterns to crazy patterns.  These stocked fish see everything drifted at them and they do two things, feed and rest so eventually they will eat your nymph/fly.

They are scheduled to stock the Tuckasegee River in Jackson County November 3rd and 5th.

Tight Lines!
