October 16, 2015

Good Friday morning!  We are off to a wonderful start today.  Temps are in the 40's with highs in the 60's today.  A wee bit of fog is on the Tuckasegee River along the South River Road area but it should burn off soon.  We have a current stream flow reading in Cullowhee of 337cfs with the West Fork generating at 6am this morning.  Expect afternoon flows to be a bit over 500cfs so please check before entering the water.  Click on our website link for current flow readings and generation schedules.

Fishing is good right now.  The Tuck is seeing many anglers from all over the United States and it is not disappointing anyone.  Some really nice fish are being landed and released so get in on the action.  Various techniques are being used to land these fish.  Expect to see competition style nymphing, dropper rigs, and some dry fly setups.  Go with what you like and have fun.

Don't hesitate to contact us with any questions.  Stop in the shop, call, or email us.

Tight lines!
