We received 1.5" of rain since Friday evening but it looks like we are in the clear moving forward.  Stream flows are good and the park streams are pretty clear.  I drove by the Tuckasegee this morning and it still looked a bit stained in Jackson County and it was very stained in Bryson City last evening.

If you are dead set on fishing DH water you will need some hi-vis flies.  Usually white rubber legged patterns work good in these conditions.

I suggest hitting some smaller streams and find the clear water and you will find fish activity.
