Good morning everyone. We are off to a chili start this morning but it is going to be a fantastic day! Get out and hit your favorite water and escape all the drama of the world. Fly fishing is my Prozac and it is time for some water therapy.
The Tuck should be good today as the West Fork will be flowing from 7 am until 7 pm today. I would expect some top water activity with the temperatures warming up nicely today. Always be prepared with some midge patterns and a few good nymph patterns.
The Great Smoky Mountain National Park water is a bit colder than the tail water this time of year and the fishing will be a bit slower but can still be productive when you maximize your opportunities. I focus on fishing the warmest part of the day and I really slow down my presentation. Sticking to nymphs can be best but you can still land a few on some tiny dries but don't expect a ton of top water activity.
Tight Lines!
