It looks like a very wintry type of weekend!  Look for a chance of snow showers but no accumulations.  Highs in the 30's and lows in the 20's will rule the weekend weather so dress in layers.  With the colder weather it looks like Duke Energy is set on running water from both East and West Forks of the Tuckasegee River.  Duke has released three days of flow schedules and both branches will be running.  That will make wading difficult at times.

With the onset of colder weather and higher water you will need to change your approach.  Heavier nymphs to get deeper and even some smaller midge patterns should be the go to choices.  Make sure to have some hand warmers and toe warmers to make you tip a bit more comfortable.
