The cold weather is arriving with some wind this morning.  It certainly feels more like November but we have had some great warm weather this month.  Expect lows in the 30's and 20's depending on location and this will push the water temps down.  Expect highs in the 50's for most of the weekend and wind so bundle up.

Duke Energy has scheduled East and West Fork generations for the next 72 hours and this is making the Tuckasegee flow very high.  I have seen a few anglers trying to wade and some have came in with some stories of difficult wading at best.  This is such a great fishery but we can't control the flow rate.  We do however have 14 other great fisheries on the WNC Fly Fishing Trail so get out and wet a line.
