Ten more days until Christmas and it is mild outside.  We are still in a mild weather pattern and I had a chance to fish a bit this weekend.  Many of you may have seen the Brook Trout video on our Facebook page that I landed and released this weekend.  I took all of my fish on a #18 Gallop's Goober Midge. 

Streams are clear and I was easing around the stream spotting fish and then casting to them.  Many were hanging on the edges on the stream.  My advice is to look before you step.  Fish may be hanging in places you least expect it.

The stream flow is still high.  Duke is scheduled to release water the next 3 days.  Maybe we will get a break for this weekend but we are forecast for cold weather Saturday with another warming trend following.
