Wow it is like Jekyll and Hyde when it comes to rain.  More rain hit the region yesterday with an official reading of .79 inches in Sylva but larger amounts up to 1.5 inches have been reported.  More rain is in the forecast today so keep an eye on the sky if your are heading to a stream.

USGS stream readings are showing many streams at above normal flow conditions.  Expect swift water and dingy water conditions today.  Wade with extreme caution and use a wading staff.

Dry Fly Patterns:   October Caddis, Blue Winged Olives, Cream Midge, Royal Wulff, Royal Coachman, Red Humphy, Orange Stimulator, Autumn Palmer, Orange Never Sink Caddis

Nymphs:  Inchworm, Brown Stone Patterns, Black Stone Patterns, Girdle Bugs, Secret Weapon Nymph, Pheasant Tail, BWO Emergers, Wooly Buggers
